School Development Planning (SDP) - element #16

Back on task after spending time on the other side of Australia for a family visit.  Spent some of this time in a school as a grandparent.  Good fun but was appalled at the standard of printing and handwriting that is acceptable these days.  Bit old fashioned hey!

SDP element #16	Student population predictions, student attendance rates and the concomitant staff and infrastructure needs.
Aligned SE criterion	Criterion #12:  Our school’s budget is focussed on improving student learning. Criterion #16: Communication works in our school community.
Current school documentation and situation	Current school documentation contains the strategies to keep ahead of school population predictions in terms of people and buildings and (for a government school ) details the enrolment procedures according to the regulations of the state Education Department. ·       The school’s population is predicted to remain relatively stable in size from 2016-2018.
Development objectives for 2016	·        (For a government school) Ensure the completion of enrolments processes for 2017 during Term 3 as required by the Education Department regulations.
