School Development Plan (SDP) element #9 : Monitoring the outcomes of the student learning program

This is vital as it is really at the nub of what the school is there for.


SDP element #9
The role of teachers and administrative staff in monitoring the outcomes of student learning from the prescribed curriculum to provide conclusions about the overall effectiveness of that learning across the school.
Aligned SE criterion
Criterion #5: My school makes sure that as I progress I don’t develop gaps in my English Language, mathematics and digital skills learning.
Criterion #15:  Our school focuses on change that improves student learning.

Current school documentation
There is current and detailed documentation to indicate how the data from student learning outcomes is interpreted to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the learning program.

Development objectives for 2016
Carry out the normal processes to make evidence based judgements about learning effectiveness across the school.
Induct new staff into these processes.
